What We Believe
- The Word of God — We believe the Bible is divinely inspired and inerrant in the original manuscripts. Since we believe in the inspiration and authority of God’s Word, our church seeks to use the Bible as our guide in all we do.
- God — We believe in one God who eternally exists in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Son, Jesus Christ, is fully God and fully human. He was born of a virgin, crucified for our sins, buried and physically resurrected from the dead on the third day.
- Sin, The Gospel & Salvation — We believe human beings were created morally good and in the image of God. However, by disobedience, sin came into the world and has caused untold suffering, pain and death. Worst, it has caused separation from God. However, the Gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ has come to pay the penalty in place of the guilty and restore freedom and fellowship with God. Salvation is possible only by faith in Jesus Christ and His work, not by human effort.

The Church—We believe the local church is body of believers who agree to meet together to worship God and advance the Gospel. The church is made up of members who have made of profession of faith in Jesus Christ and followed Him in believer’s baptism. The church recognizes two ordinances, baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Our church subscribes to the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message.
